Looking for a PlanGrid alternative that doesn’t lock you into Autodesk?

PlanGrid no longer exists as a standalone app after being acquired by Autodesk. If you need fast photo documentation and clear reports without the bloat, SiteCam offers this at a fraction of the cost.

Why teams choose SiteCam over Autodesk Build

PlanGrid helped digitize construction drawings and photo documentation, but it now lives inside the Autodesk ecosystem. SiteCam keeps things simple and affordable. No ecosystem lock-in, no heavy rollout, just the essentials crews use every day. Here are the key differences:

Focused simplicity

Purpose-built for photo documentation. No overwhelming feature bloat, just what you need to get the job done efficiently.

Significantly more affordable

For the cost of 1 Autodesk Build license ($170), you can get 5 SiteCam users ($145). Incredible value.

Free forever plan

No time limits or credit card required. Autodesk only offers 30-day trials, then you must pay to continue.

Quick setup & learning

Get your team productive in minutes, not weeks. No complex training or lengthy onboarding required.

No lock-in contracts

Cancel your subscription anytime. If SiteCam isn’t the right fit, we make it easy to leave. No long-term commitments required.

Personal support

Direct access to the product team who know the product inside out. Speak to them via Phone, Zoom, Chat or Email.

Autodesk Construction Cloud

App Battery Usage is beyond unnecessary.
I’ve used PlanGrid for a while, I am a Project Engineer with a good understanding of computer programming, etc. This app is just absurd with its excessive background activity. It’s done nothing but gotten worse.

Autodesk Construction Cloud

1 star review Should have been -5 but I don’t like to leave a meh review on any topic. This app has me feeling like I should warn others not to get scammed. It’s not worth it.
